18 thousand hectares of unused agricultural lands put into operation

Spring field work has finished in the Republic of Tatarstan, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of agriculture and foodstuff Marat Akhmetov informed at a meeting at the RT Government House.
The meeting was held by the RT President Rustam Minnikhanov in video conference format with participation of all municipal regions.
Addressing attendees of the meeting, Marat Akhmetov asked using full light day for agricultural operations and work 24 hours when stocking the forage.
As for livestock sector development in republic, improvement of reproduction and safety of cattle is observed. Marat Akhmetov reminded that in accordance with the RT President Edict, owners of milk cows will be receiving a monthly subsidy for one cow in the amount of 680 roubles from May till August. It has to do with all owners of cows, including peasant farm enterprises, private husbandries, etc. The subsidy will be paid in cash.
The minister informed as well that 18 thousand hectares of unused agricultural lands were put into operation.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
