Rustam Minnikhanov meets with the Turkish minister of economy

Leadership of the Turkish Republic appreciates business relationships with the Republic of Tatarstan, the Turkish minister of economy Zafer Çağlayan said at a meeting with the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
The meeting was held in Istanbul within the confines of the Tatarstan-Turkish Trade-investment forum.
RT President Rustam Minnikhanov expressed a desire to organize the same forum in Kazan where Turkish businessmen will be able to get acquainted with investment opportunities of Tatarstan personally.
Rustam Minnikhanov believes that Tatarstan is the most transparent region of Russia for Turkish business and may become the starting point for entering the Russian market.
The Turkish minister of economy Zafer Çağlayan marked in turn that leadership of the Turkish Republic appreciates business relationships with Tatarstan. “1 of 15 bln dollars of Turkish investments around the world go to Tatarstan. It means a lot,” Zafer Çağlayan said.
He noted as well that the Turkish leadership would continue inviting Turkish companies in Tatarstan. In his opinion, business projects with participation of Turkish companies will be the best advertising for Tatarstan as an investment-attractive region.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
