Rustam Minnikhanov speaks at the economic forum in Istanbul

Realization of many big projects aimed at Tatarstan development has become possible due to personal support of the Russian President Vladimir Putin, RT President Rustam Minnikhanov said at World economic forum on Europe, Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia in Istanbul.
The Tatarstan President attended a plenary session and the section “Changing Russia: formation of new management architecture”. President of World economic forum Klaus Schwab made a welcoming speech at the plenary session. The Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan also took part in the event.
Representative of the Russian Federation in the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Board Denis Morozov, President and Board Chairman of JSC VTB Andrey Kostin, and other experts took part in the section “Changing Russia: formation of new management architecture” as well.
The Tatarstan President expressed his opinion regarding the election of Vladimir Putin as the Russian President. “Vladimir Putin has got wide experience and he sets particular tasks. Owing to his attitude to Tatarstan many processes happening in our country are connected with our republic which is rapidly developing. We have many big projects, and all our undertakings, whether it is petrochemistry, oil processing, the World student games, were supported by the federal leadership,” RT President said.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
