Rustam Minnikhanov: Tatarstan leadership completely supports the project of tehnopolis Novaya Tura

The construction stage of the tehnopolis Novaya Tura (New Tura) has started today. An official ceremony of laying the capsule with a message to descendants took place in Zelenodolsk municipal region. President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov attended the event.
To the point, Novaya Tura is the first tehnopolis in the country created with the state support at the expense of private investors. Investors are Brack Capital Real Estate Russia and the investment fund FGN Capital.
Investors are committed to contribute 5 bln roubles in the first stage of construction of the tehnopolis Novaya Tura. Total amount of funding will make 9 bln roubles, payback time – 7 years.
The project will be implemented at the border of Zelenodolsk municipal region and the city of Kazan at the area of 250 hectares.
The Agreement about realization of the investment project “Tehnopolis Novaya Tura” was signed by the Tatarstan Minister of economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov and authorized representative of the Managing company OOO Tehnopolis Novaya Tura Alexandr Khaldei within the framework of the today’s event.
Rustam Minnikhanov said that tehnopolis Novaya Tura would become another big project for republic. “The Tatarstan leadership completely supports the project. It will promote cooperation of business and educational cluster,” he said.
The RT President also noted that the project will help arranging unorganized and illegal sales points in towns and regions making them comfortable for customers.
OOO “Volga service center” (wholesale and retail trade), Innovative-production logistics agro-center, Research-educational center and Center of intercultural communications will become main residents of the tehnopolis.
The project and the scheme of engineering, transport infrastructure and land use planning were presented to Rustam Minnikhanov.
First Deputy PM Ravil Muratov, Deputy PM - Minister of agriculture and foodstuff Marat Akhmetov, Minister of economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, Minister of education and science Albert Gilmutdinov, Minister of construction, architecture, housing and utilities Irek Faizullin, Head of Zelenodolsk municipal region Sergei Batin took part in the event.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
