Ildar Khalikov: trip to Finland to enable studying experience in the sphere of innovations and establishing contacts for further cooperation

“We hope the trip to Finland and participation in the 3rd EU-Russia Innovation Forum will enable our specialists getting acquainted with the country’s developments in the sphere of energy saving and opportunities of using energy-saving technologies,” the Tatarstan PM Ildar Khalikov said to journalists after a plenary session of the forum.
To the point, the event is held in Lappeenranta on the basis of the Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT).
“We hope this visit will let the representatives of our universities and innovation companies within the RT delegation studying the Finland experience in the sphere of innovations and establishing contacts for further cooperation,” Ildar Khalikov said.
According to Ildar Khalikov, interaction between Tatarstan as a Russian region and Finland has lately become stronger, “because Tatarstan sets the task of innovative economic development, by creating many innovative platforms which attract investors and partners in this sphere.”
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
On 1 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in N.I. Lobachevsky Prize and Medal Award Ceremony held in Kazan Federal University and handed in the award to the Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chief Researcher of the St. Petersburg Department of Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergei Ivanov who was awarded for the outstanding achievements in fundamental and applied mathematics.
