Aleksey Pesoshin meets trade representatives of Russia to foreign countries
On 3 July at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and trade representatives of Russia to foreign countries discussed current trade and economic interaction of the republic with foreign partners, issues of export activities of enterprises of the republic, promotion of Tatarstan produce to foreign markets and development of new niches, issues of logistics and the development in inter-regional ties.
Speaking at the meeting, Aleksey Pesoshin emphasized an important role of trade representative offices in the development of mutually beneficial cooperation with foreign partners and informed that in 2024 Tatarstan foreign trade turnover increased by more than 12 per cent and reached 16.2bn dollars US. At the same time the export grew by 20 per cent, making 12.3bn dollars, he said and added: “Numbers are good, but we would like to have more and rely on your support in this work. In our turn we are ready to give you our full assistance.”
The regional Prime Minister told about capacities of the republic and informed that in 2024 the GRP was 5.2 trillion rubles. He also gave information about main well developed branches of industry, while the regional Minister of Industry and Trade Oleg Korobchenko and the Head of Tatarstan Investments Development Agency Taliya Minullina told about the industrial capacity of the republic in detail.
During their visit to the republic heads of Russian trade representative offices are planning to visit the largest enterprises of Tatarstan and get acquainted with their capabilities.
