Rustam Minnikhanov meets with president of International sambo federation

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met with President of the International federation of amateur sambo - Deputy of the RF State Duma Vasily Shestakov in Kazan.
The state coach of the Russian sambo team - President of the European sambo federation Sergei Eliseev, president of Sambo Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan Ivan Egorov, deputy minister of youth affairs, sport and tourism Khalil Shaikhutdinov attended the meeting at the RT Government House.
Vasily Shestakov shared his impressions with Rustam Minnikhanov regarding the sport infrastructure he had seen in Kazan. He noted that there are many operating sport complexes in Kazan which are actively used for mass sports.
Head of the International federation of amateur sambo told the RT President about development of this kind of sport in the world and Russia. Current situation and perspectives of sambo in Tatarstan have been discussed at the meeting.

On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”

Leyla Fazleeva holds a meeting of the commission under the Rais of Tatarstan on the Russian language
On 31 March in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva hold a meeting of the Commission on the Russian language under the Rais of Tatarstan, which considered key issues of supporting and developing Russian language, including new educational initiatives and discussed programmes of popularization of Russian literature and activities to preserve the language heritage.

On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Azat Ziganshin informed that the regional central cleaning up action will be held in the republic on 25 April and clarified that the location of the national cleanup day will be announced later as the site will be chosen taking into account the opinions of Tatarstan residents.
On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional and the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Damir Shaydullin informed about statistics on the collection of utility bills payments from the population and data on the payment discipline of enterprises and organizations of the republic.
