3М-Russia is interested in creation of production at SEZ Alabuga

3М-Russia company has expressed interest in creation of new production at special economic zone Alabuga (the Republic of Tatarstan). It has been discussed at the meeting of the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with the company’s management.

The meeting was held within the framework of participation of RT President in St.Petersburg international economic forum.

3М-Russia produces visual communication systems, safety and protection means, electrotechnical equipment, materials for industrial production, etc. The company is presented in the Russian market since 1991.

The company’s activity and the project of new plant to be constructed at SEZ Alabuga were presented to Rustam Minnikhanov.

Adhesive materials, anti-corrosive coatings, abrasive agents, protective equipment (respirators, protective clothes), and communication equipment for the “final mile” (cables, switches) will be produced at the plant.

According to officials of 3М-Russia, opening of the plant at SEZ Alabuga will enable increasing volume of output in Russia considerably. Besides, the company intends opening a demonstration center in Kazan for potential users of their produce.

Director of the Department for external relations under the RT President – Aide to RT President Iskander Muflikhanov, Director General of SEZ Alabuga Timur Shagivaleev attended the meeting.
