Representatives of RF Ministry of economic development and Ministry of finance accompanied by Rustam Minnikhanov visit SEZ Alabuga

Deputy RF Minister of economic development Oleg Saveliev, Deputy RF Minister of finance Andrei Ivanov and President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov discussed issues of further development of special economic zone Alabuga.
The meeting was held in administration building of SEZ Alabuga (Elabuga municipal region, the Republic of Tatarstan).
Participants of the event discussed new tools of increasing investment attractiveness of SEZ Alabuga and expanding federal benefits for residents.
According to Oleg Saveliev, the project of SEZ Alabuga competes with global economic zones. He noted as well that it’s time to implement new tools for attracting investors.
Rustam Minnikhanov said that ambitious tasks should be always set for further development.
In the context of the visit to special economic zone Alabuga Oleg Saveliev, Andrei Ivanov and Rustam Minnikhanov acquainted with activity of several resident companies, i.e. OOO “Rockwool-Volga”, ZAO “Polimatiz”, and OOO “P-D Tatneft-Alabuga Steklovolokno”.

On March 10, the third meeting of the organizing committee on preparation and holding of the 20th anniversary Russian Venture Forum 2026 to be held in Kazan from April 8 to 10, chaired by Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov and with participation of Tatarstan Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and co-chair of the forum’s organizing committee Aleksey Pesoshin, President of the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan Rifkat Minnikhanov, Director of the Investment and Venture Fund of Tatarstan Damir Galiev as well as representatives of federal and regional authorities, development institutions and partner organizations via videoconference, took place.
On 10 March, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national Max messenger in Tatarstan and held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communication of the republic Ilya Nachvin informed that according to the data of March 2026 about 1.5m residents of Tatarstan use domestic Max messenger.

On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
