Rustam Minnikhanov: X summer Sberbankiada in Kazan makes Tatarstan more recognizable in the country

“Holding of the 10th summer Sberbankiada in Kazan enabled making the Republic of Tatarstan more recognizable in the country,” the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said at one of the events held within the framework of Sberbankiada.

Together with President and Chairman of JSC “Sberbank of Russia” German Gref, Rustam Minnikhanov visited Big fruit festival on the territory of Universiade village.

Teams from different regions of the country, subsidiary banks (Kazakhstan, Belarus) and Central office of Sberbank organized tasting and presentation of traditional dishes made of ecologically clean products of various Russian regions.

German Gref thanked all participants of the Big fruit festival and sportsmen of Sberbankiada. He also addressed the RT President with words of gratitude for paying much attention to the event.

“Today Rustam Minnikhanov has apologized to guests and citizens of Kazan for inconveniences in connection with wide construction works being implemented in the city. But I see that Kazan is changing and I can imagine how beautiful it will be in a year by the time of opening summer Universiade 2013. Kazan shows the example of how people love their republic and their city,” German Gref said.

The Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that 354 days are left till summer Universiade 2013. He thanked management of JSC “Sberbank of Russia” for choosing Kazan as the place for holding Sberbankiada-2012.
