New objects under construction in the center of Kazan discussed at RT Government House

The Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting dedicated to construction of new objects in the Kazan historical center. Attendees of the meeting discussed sixteen objects being constructed in the capital in terms of their compliance with architectural and urban planning requirements.

Chief architect of the Kazan city Tatyana Prokofieva presented the projects. Some of them have already been discussed at similar meetings before. Certain alterations were made in accordance with requirements to present the projects at today’s meeting.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted that external design of new buildings must be implemented using modern materials, facades should have proper appearance fitting into the architectural look of the city.

The RT President gave assignment to reconsider facade solutions by some of the projects.

Aide to the Tatarstan President Olesya Baltusova paid attention to landscape gardening of all objects under construction. Rustam Minnikhanov supported the idea and required to plant greenery before putting objects into service.
