Rustam Minnikhanov: Only well-coordinated work of financial, tax and treasury agencies can enable fulfilling priority budget assignments

“Activity of the Tatarstan financial, tax and treasury agencies has been stable in the first half of 2012, we have no serious remarks,” President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov stated at a republican meeting today.
The meeting was held at the Government House in format of video conference with all municipal regions.
The event was attended by Tatarstan’s Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin and others.
Summing up the republican meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov asked focusing on enterprises which permitted reduction of the income tax. Sectoral ministries, financial, tax and treasury agencies are required to work with these enterprises. The RT President also asked to resolve the situation with enterprises having debts on payment of personal income tax. “Budget revenues must be performed to ensure stability. Budget funds must be spent efficiently for realization of certain tasks,” he noted.
The Tatarstan President reminded that the republican budget implies enormous social expenses that must be performed in full. “Only well-coordinated work of financial, tax and treasury agencies can enable fulfilling priority budget assignments,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
“We make a lot of investments in development of sport, healthy lifestyle, and this activity yields positive results. The priority problems for us are quality of life, environment, ecological situation, education and medical services,” he added.
President of Tatarstan said that the impact of global economy on the Tatarstan economy and formation of consolidated budget should be taken into account.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “

There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
