Rustam Minnikhanov holds regular session of OJSC Tatneft Board of directors

A regular session of OJSC Tatneft Board of directors chaired by the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov was held in the House of RT Government today. Outcomes of budget execution of OJSC Tatneft for the first half of 2012 have been discussed, and august budget has been approved.
Members of the board discussed information about adoption of modern automation technologies of industrial processes in oil-producing and petrochemical sectors. It has been noted that almost all production stages in the company are provided with efficient information systems, including automation at the brigade level and corporate top management systems. The mentioned complexes are integrated in a single information environment which makes company management more structured, transparent and efficient.
A report about realization of ecological program was presented at the session. The activity aimed at compliance with ecological requirements is becoming more important in connection with toughening of environmental legislation.
Currently, the third “Ecological program” is being realized at Tatneft. Major events focused on protection of atmosphere air and subsurface resources, wise utilization of water and land resources are being implemented in the context of the program. Ecological situation on the territory of the company’s activity meets all regulations.
On March 10, the third meeting of the organizing committee on preparation and holding of the 20th anniversary Russian Venture Forum 2026 to be held in Kazan from April 8 to 10, chaired by Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov and with participation of Tatarstan Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and co-chair of the forum’s organizing committee Aleksey Pesoshin, President of the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan Rifkat Minnikhanov, Director of the Investment and Venture Fund of Tatarstan Damir Galiev as well as representatives of federal and regional authorities, development institutions and partner organizations via videoconference, took place.
On 10 March, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national Max messenger in Tatarstan and held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communication of the republic Ilya Nachvin informed that according to the data of March 2026 about 1.5m residents of Tatarstan use domestic Max messenger.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
