President of Tatarstan visits new house constructed under social mortgage program

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin have visited a multi-dwelling house in Kazan that was built under the social mortgage program.

A nine-storey house with 72 flats on Maximov street (the Aviastroitelny district, Kazan) has been built within a year. The general contractor was OAO Kazancentrstroi. Total cost of construction has made 124 mln roubles. The house was commissioned in June 2012.

Today, the president has met with residents of a new house. They thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for an opportunity to purchase high-quality housing. New dwellers especially appreciated children’s playground in the yard.

Residents of neighboring houses asked the Tatarstan President to assist in including their housing in the capital repair program. Rustam Minnikhanov assured that realization of the program will be continued in republic. It is planned to allocate 4,5 bln roubles yearly at the expense of owners, municipal and republican budgets.

Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin noted that lately many efforts have been applied for developing the Aviastroitelny district. New kindergarten, school and sports complex have been built, and the metro station will soon be constructed.
