Tatarstan is number one among Russian regions in assessing efficiency of activity of executive power bodies

The Republic of Tatarstan has been ranked first among Russian regions in assessing efficiency of activity of executive power bodies of the Russian Federation. Such information was presented by the RF Minister of regional development Oleg Govorun at a session of RF Government on August 16.
He informed that in accordance with overall assessment 2011, the RF Ministry of regional development selected 10 regions with best results. The Republic of Tatarstan followed by St.Petersburg, Tyumen oblast, Chuvash Republic, Perm krai, Moscow, Omsk, Tambov, Kostroma, and Astrakhan regions was ranked first.
The assessment was conducted in respect of results of authorities’ performance in regions and dynamics of their development in the sphere of public administration, education, health care, housing and utilities sector. Public assessment of authorities’ work and efficiency of budget funds expenditure were also taken into account.
The Russian Minister of regional development informed that according to the RF Government Edict, grants will be assigned for ten leading regions. The number one region is likely to receive up to 160 mln roubles.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
