Rustam Minnikhanov is on working trip in Rostov-on-Don

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov is on a working trip in Rostov-on-Don. Main purpose of the trip is participation in a meeting on issues of innovative development of sectoral economy in terms of agro-industrial and fuel-energy complexes. The meeting will be held by the Chairman of RF Government Dmitry Medvedev.
Interaction of business, science and development institutes will be in the focus of attention during the event. Vice-premier of RF Government Vladislav Surkov, Vice-premier of RF Government Arkady Dvorkovich, Vice speaker of RF State Duma Sergei Zheleznyak, RF Minister of agriculture Nikolai Fedorov will take part in the meeting.
Interaction of business, science and development institutes will be in the focus of attention during the event. On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.

There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
