Rustam Minnikhanov: «There are significant advances in the development of Kazan University»

The first point of the visit of RT President in the KFU was reconstructed housing at Chernyshevsky Street, where will be the laboratory facilities of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technology.

The Institute of Chemistry now is in prosess of reconstruction., The building was not repaired For years is now renovated and equipped up tp date. RT Prezident visited School of Information Technology and Information System (ITIS) - one of the most advanced training units of Kazan Federal University. The largest IT-companies in the region, as well as famous brands - Microsoft, HP, Cisco, Oracle, IBM, Samsung - have teamed up to train future IT-point spetsialists. The final paragraph of today's visit was the Institute of Basic Medicine and Biology, wthich is in the prosess of construction.

Summing up the visit of KFU, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the development of the university is in significant progress. At the same time, he said, that it is necessary to solve a number of issues, and leading enterprises of Tatarstan should help the university in tis case. Thus, R. Minnikhanov instructed the Ministry of Construction of the Republic together with OJSC "TAIF" to discuss the prospects of the new building of the Institute of Chemistry, the leadership of the university, along with developers - find a suitable option of external design of high-rise buildings. Energy companies of the Republic should find the additional 1.7 MW of electrical power. The RT President also ordered to renovated library named after Lobachevsky.
