Vladimir Putin gave awards to the Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Tatarstan Mufti Ildus Faizov and Waliullah Yakupov’s widow

Today, Russian President Vladimir Putin presented state awards to representatives of RT Muslim clergy during his working trip to Tatarstan. Award ceremony took place on the territory of the Bulgarian State Historical and Architectural Museum.
Waliullah Yakupov - the head of the educational department Spiritual Administration of Muslims - who was killed in an attack on July 19, 2011, awarded with the Order of Courage. Vladimir Putin gave an award to Waliullah Yakupov’s widow - Galina Aventeva.
Russian President Vladimir Putin also awarded RT Hazrat Mufti Ildus Faizov with the Order of Friendship with the phrase "For contributions to the development of spiritual and moral traditions, strengthening civil peace and inter-religious cooperation."
Vladimir Putin expressed his gratitude to all the clergy leaders of traditional religions of the country.
On a trip to the Bulgarian State Historical and Architectural Reserve museum Vladimir Putin was accompanied by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, presidential adviser Mintimer Shaimiev and other officials.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
