President of Tatarstan meets with academician Rashid Syunyaev

The Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with academician of the Russian academy of sciences, honourable member of Academy of sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan Rashid Syunyaev.
The meeting took place at the RT Government House with participation of President of the RT Academy of sciences Akhmet Mazgarov, Head of the Department for higher, secondary professional education and science of the RT Cabinet Staff Renat Zamanov, academician of the RT Academy of sciences Nail Sakhibullin.
The prominent Russian scientist Rashid Syunyaev is taking part in the international conference “X-ray sky: from starts and black holes to cosmology”. The forum will last till September 7.
The conference is organized by the RT Academy of sciences, the department of astronomy and space geodesy of the Kazan Federal University, the Institute of Space Research of the Russian academy of sciences (Moscow), the Institute of astrophysics named after Max Plank (Germany).
Rashid Syunyaev is the main initiator of the event. Outstanding astrophysicists from Russia, USA, Germany and other countries take part in the conference.
Main topic to be discussed at the event is scientific and technical problems connected with planned launch of a space observatory “Spectrum-RG” into the near-Earth orbit in 2014.
The satellite is meant for studying various unique objects of the Universe: black holes, active galaxies, remote clusters of galaxies and solving problems regarding origin and evolution of the Universe.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Rashid Syunyaev for having chosen Kazan to hold the conference.
Participants also discussed development of fundamental scientific research in Tatarstan and Russia.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
