Chief of Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia Igor Artemiev arrives in Kazan

Chief of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia Igor Artemiev has arrived in Tatarstan with a working visit. He was met by Tatarstan’s Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, first deputy PM Ravil Muratov, and other officials at the international airport “Kazan”.
To the point, Igor Artemiev arrived to participate in the international event “Day of competition in Russia” (September 11-13, 2012). Chiefs of competitive agencies from Austria, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Portugal, Turkey, Ukraine, and other countries, representatives of Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development, BRICS, European Commission, Eurasian Economic Commission and CIS Executive Committee were invited to the event.
The event opened with a session of the international working group on issues of development and performance of oil and oil product markets. A roundtable dedicated to state preferences (government assistance) “Russia – EC” themed: “Ensuring observance of competitive conditions upon rendering government assistance in Russia and EC” will be held later on.
On September 12, Igor Artemiev will hold plenary session of the international conference “Day of competition in Russia”.
Moreover, the Federal state autonomous institution “Training center” of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia will be opened in Kazan.
The Day of competition is an extended session of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia organised with participation of chiefs and representatives of the Russian and foreign competitive agencies, international organisations and integration groups, countries – members of CIS, representatives of law enforcement and judicial bodies, business, scientific and public communities. Seminars, roundtables, meetings on issues of activity of antimonopoly bodies are held within the framework of the event.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
