President of Tatarstan arrives in Sochi

President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in Sochi with a working visit. He was met by Mayor of Armavir city Andrei Kharchenko at the Adler airport.
The Tatarstan delegation is comprised of Vice-premier – Minister of informatization and communications Roman Shaikhutdinov, Vice-premier – Minister of industry and trade Ravil Zaripov, Minister of economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, Aide to the Tatarstan President on international issues Radik Gimatdinov, Aide to the Tatarstan President on economic issues Airat Khairullin.
Rustam Minnikhanov will take part in XI international investment forum “Sochi-2012”. Prime Minister of Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev is expected to make a speech at a plenary session. Another important event will be presentation of Innopolis city being created in Tatarstan.

On 13 January, speaking about New Year events at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva informed that more than 8 thousand topical events were held during New Year holidays in the republic.
“These included mass celebrations, theatrical performances, concerts, sporting competitions, and much more. Outdoor events were particularly popular, “she said and informed about numerous events held within the Kurshe (Neighbor) festival and the regional Christmas Tree celebrations organized with participation of the Rais (Head) of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov.
On 13 January Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the regional Healthcare Minister Almir Abashev, the Acting Mayor of the Town of Innopolis Ildar Khuzzyatov and heads of medical and construction organizations of the republic took part in a solemn ceremony of opening a children’s polyclinic in Innopolis. The new facility more than twice expanded the medical service of the town and also houses the 24 our emergency ambulances unit with a separate entrance for its staff.

On January 12, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin introduced a new Tatarstan Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Azat Ziganshin to its staff.
On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
