Prime Minister of Luxembourg Jean-Claude Juncker and other members of the delegation have visited the Kazan IT-park.
Guests were accompanied by the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Tatarstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of informatization and communications Roman Shaikhutdinov.
Head of the Tatarstan Ministry of communications told about infrastructure of the Kazan IT-park, the branch of the high technology park in Naberezhnye Chelny, main principles and areas of activity, attraction of residents and offered conditions.
Further, key projects in the sphere of informatization and high technologies were presented. In particular, Roman Shaikhutdinov told about the project of IT city “Innopolis”, educational and health care projects, rendering of state services in electronic format.
Later on, members of the delegation visited business incubator and learn about advanced solutions developed by residents, such as the simulator for teaching young specialists to conduct operations without cavity dissection, and improving their professional skills.
On 13 January, speaking about New Year events at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva informed that more than 8 thousand topical events were held during New Year holidays in the republic.
“These included mass celebrations, theatrical performances, concerts, sporting competitions, and much more. Outdoor events were particularly popular, “she said and informed about numerous events held within the Kurshe (Neighbor) festival and the regional Christmas Tree celebrations organized with participation of the Rais (Head) of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov.
On 13 January Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the regional Healthcare Minister Almir Abashev, the Acting Mayor of the Town of Innopolis Ildar Khuzzyatov and heads of medical and construction organizations of the republic took part in a solemn ceremony of opening a children’s polyclinic in Innopolis. The new facility more than twice expanded the medical service of the town and also houses the 24 our emergency ambulances unit with a separate entrance for its staff.
On January 12, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin introduced a new Tatarstan Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Azat Ziganshin to its staff.
On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
