Rustam Minnikhanov holds regular session of OAO Tatneft Board of directors

A regular session of OAO Tatneft Board of directors chaired by the Tatarstan President Rustam was held at the RT Government House today. Results of budget performance by the company for eight months of 2012 have been considered, budgets for October and the fourth quarter of the current year approved, and forecasts of financial and economic activity of the company for 2013 discussed.
Board of directors heard information about realization of construction of the integrated hydrocracking unit at TANECO, technological efficiency of drilling new wells and development of horizontal drilling at the company’s fields.
During the last ten years, a wide range of new well pumping technologies have been used at OAO Tatneft. These technologies are widely applied at newly drilling wells and upon restoration of old ones.
Applied technologies are constantly analyzed, new advanced technologies are adopted.
Gathered experience has proved economic efficiency of drilling wells with horizontal holes. Executive directors were required to continue working in this area.
Some other issues concerning activity of OAO Tatneft have also been considered at the session.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
