Celebration in honour of veterans of state service of the Republic of Tatarstan was held within the framework of the International day for Older People at the National culture center “Kazan”.
The Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated participants of the event on the holiday.
He noted that today celebrations dated to the day for older people are held throughout Tatarstan, and it is a great opportunity to meet with the older generation.
Addressing veterans of state service, Rustam Minnikhanov said that such meetings must be held more often.
“Achievements we are proud of are possible thanks to each of you. Thank you for your work,” President of Tatarstan said.
Rustam Minnikhanov told the audience about key republican projects.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
