Development of interactive availability map for disabled people finished in Tatarstan

Development of the interactive map of availability of the urban environment to disabled people has finished in Tatarstan, Deputy Minister of labour, employment and social protection Irina Prosviryakova informed at a briefing at the RT Cabinet “On measures dated to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities and social support to disabled people in the Republic of Tatarstan.”
According to Irina Prosviryakova, the Ministry of informatization and communications has finished development of the interactive map and it will be presented in the nearest time.
Irina Prosviryakova said that all objects in the interactive map are divided in three availability categories: “completely available object”, “object available in the servicing area” and “partially available object”.
The category “completely available object” means that the object is completely adapted to being used by persons with all kinds of disabilities.
Most health care institutions fall under the category “object available in the servicing area”. Only first floors of these objects are adapted to disabled people.
The last category is a “partially available object”.
Deputy Minister of labour, employment and social protection mentioned that great attention was paid to adaptation of pedestrian crossings.
Deputy Minister informed that problems connected with adaptation of health care, sports and cultural objects to disabled people were being actively solved.
In particular, certain works have been fulfilled at the Republican Clinical Hospital, Children’s Republican Clinical Hospital, Interregional Clinicodiagnostic Center, hospitals for veterans in Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny, S.Saidashev State Big Concert Hall and the Kazan Circus.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
