Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov meets with Ambassador of Vietnam to Russia Fam Suan Shon

Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov has met with Ambassador of Vietnam to Russia Fam Suan Shon at the RT Government House. The parties discussed issues of increasing the trade turnover between Vietnam and the Republic of Tatarstan, consolidation of scientific and cultural relations.
Head of the Tatarstan Government emphasized main potential areas for joint cooperation, notably, engineering, ship building, petrochemistry, and education.
Cooperation is meant to be established with OJSC KAMAZ and OAO Gorky Zelenodolsk plant.
Ambassador of Vietnam to Russia Fam Suan Shon said that the visit to Tatarstan was aimed at developing cooperation in different spheres. On November 27, the Vietnamese delegation visited the Kazan Federal University and discussed possible organisation of exploratory trips, teaching exchange and holding of Days of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam at the Kazan Federal University.
Head of the Tatarstan Department of the Federal migration service Sergei Chepushtanov, Aide to the Tatarstan PM on foreign economic activity Alfred Zakirov, the official of the RF Ministry of foreign affairs in Kazan Radik Vakhitov, Deputy Minister of industry and trade Rashat Fattakhov participated in the meeting.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
