Traffic on one of three bridges of the Lenin Dam was officially opened in Kazan today by the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
New traffic interchange on the Lenin Dam is one of the most difficult and large-scale projects under modernization of the transport infrastructure in Kazan in the context of preparation for Universiade 2013. Construction works are to be completely finished in May next year. First section of the new traffic interchange was opened today.
The Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the interchange was very important for the city.
The Kazan mayor Ilsur Metshin thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for the decision to make up the bypass road for the period of construction.
President of Tatarstan said that it was an essential measure to avoid traffic standstill in the city.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “

Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
