Civil funeral rites and farewell ceremony for an outstanding political and public figure Shamil Asgatovich Mustaev were held at the Tatarstan State Council today.
Tatarstan’s State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Chief of the RT President’s Staff Yuri Kamaltynov, deputy chairmen of the Tatarstan State Council Aleksandr Gusev and Rimma Ratnikova, Secretary of the Tatarstan State Council Liliya Mavrina, Presidium members, deputies of the republican Parliament, chiefs and employees of ministries and agencies, relatives of Shamil Mustaev, public figures and fellow countrymen were present at the farewell ceremony.
The funeral ceremony was held by Aleksandr Gusev. He said that unfortunately President of Tatarstan and Chairman of the State Council were not able to come to the ceremony.
Tatarstan’s State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev thanked children and grandchildren of Shamil Mustaev for taking care of him during the last years of his life.
According to Deputy Chairmen of the Tatarstan State Council Rimma Ratnikova, Shamil Mustaev used to work in a very hard period at the Supreme Council. The Vice-speaker said that Shamil Asgatovich had been devoted to his work at the Parliament and participated in every session.
On behalf of Chairman of the State Council, Presidium and deputies Rimma Ratnikova expressed condolences to relatives and colleagues of Shamil Mustaev.
Tatarstan’s First Deputy Minister of finance Marat Faizrakhmanov also expressed deepest sympathy to relatives. He said that Shamil Mustaev had been at the head of the Ministry during 15 years and nurtured a lot of financial officers, who were then working at the main Tatarstan’s financial institution and some other government institutions.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
