Amount of financing of “Miras-Heritage” program to make 1.1 bln roubles

Total amount of financing of the republican long-term program “Miras-Heritage” for 2013-2016 that was approved by the RT Government Decree in November will make 1 bln 94 mln roubles. Next year 322,5 mln roubles will be allocated for the program realization. Such information has been presented today by the RT Minister of culture Airat Sibagatullin at a briefing at the RT Cabinet.
Aide to the RT President Olesya Baltusova and Deputy Minister of culture Svetlana Persova participated in the briefing.
The program is aimed at realization of measures on ensuring preservation of the cultural heritage (reconstruction of historical monuments).
A part of funds will be directed to regions in the form of targeted subsidies for co-financing measures aimed at preservation of the cultural property realized by municipalities.
The preliminary list of objects to be restored under the program next year includes seven historical monuments. Five of them are located in Kazan. They are Baratynsky museum, Mikhlyaev-Dryablov’s House, Lev Tolstoy’s House, Galeev Mosque, Lutheran church, medrese in Bogatye Saby settlement and Gubaidi medrese-house in Yutazinsky region.
Aide to the RT President Olesya Baltusova said that the priority measures to be realized in 2013 under the program imply preservation of the oldest objects. She informed that restoration of the historical objects would also be implemented outside the capital. There are now 1.5 thousand historical objects in Tatarstan, one third located in Kazan.
Activity on attracting investors to restoration of the cultural property will also be continued.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
