Rustam Minnikhanov participates in opening of the 14th international specialized exhibition “Energy. Resource saving”

The Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov participated in opening of the 14th international specialized exhibition “Energy. Resource saving” and the 13th international symposium “Energy resource efficiency and energy saving”.

Both events are traditionally held at OAO “Kazanskaya yarmarka”. Events are organized by the RT Ministry of industry and trade, Center of energy saving technologies under the RT Cabinet.

The international exhibition is a meeting place for specialists in the sphere of energy and related industries. Experts from many Russian regions and foreign countries are participating in the exhibition. Expositions demonstrate most important fields, state-of-the-art achievements and scientific developments, efficient technical solutions and advanced projects of more than 160 leading Russian and foreign companies.

According to Rustam Minnikhanov, great progress has been made in republic in the sphere of energy and resource saving. The GRP is increasing, whereas energy and resource consumption is not.

Chairman of UNECE Committee on Sustainable Energy Sigurd Heiberg was present at the solemn opening ceremony. “Today’s event is important for Tatarstan, its energy, agriculture, all economic sectors and people living here,” he said.

Further, Rustam Minnikhanov and his party looked around the exposition.
