On March 12, speaking at the opening of the All-Russian Youth Anti-Corruption Forum held at the Institute of Economics, Management and Finance, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that countering corruption is one of the priority areas of activity of the President and the Government of Tatarstan.
Pesoshin noted that for the solution of the corruption problem, the necessary regulatory framework has been established, relevant targeted programmes have been adopted and necessary measures to prevent corruption and minimize corruption risks are carried out in the republic.
He emphasized that the share of positive experiences and knowledge between representatives of Russian regions, a collective discussion of existing problems and the development of solution approach will have a positive impact on the efficiency of countering corruption. “I am sure that the forum will be useful and efficient,” Pesoshin said.
The forum will be held in Kazan from March 12 to 15 and will be the starting point for a joint solution of the corruption problem among young people in Russia. The itinerary includes a presentation of the work of public organizations in countering corruption and the further sharing of successful experience to other entities of the Russian Federation.
