Rustam Minnikhanov meets with Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Vasily Smirnov

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met with Chief of the main organisational and mobilization department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Vasily Smirnov.
The meeting took place at the RT Government House with participation of military commissar of the Republic of Tatarstan Sergei Pogodin, First Deputy PM Ravil Muratov, Secretary of Security Council Valery Vlasov.
Valery Vlasov said that Tatarstan leadership and personally Rustam Minnikhanov made efforts for training the youth for military service. “All your conscripts worthily represent republic in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation,” he said.
Participants of the meeting discussed issues of patriotic education of the youth, training of young men of conscription age for service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
On 10 March, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national Max messenger in Tatarstan and held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communication of the republic Ilya Nachvin informed that according to the data of March 2026 about 1.5m residents of Tatarstan use domestic Max messenger.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
