On March 31, in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a videoconference of the Investment Council of the republic to consider a number of investment projects to be implemented in Tatarstan.
Opening the meeting, Minnikhanov emphasized: “Despite the challenges we have faced, the attraction of investment and the implementation of new projects in the republic is one of the priority tasks”.
The meeting participants considered five investment projects, including two projects to be implemented under the public-private partnership.
Director General of Techno Pro Company Aidar Nigmatullin reported on a project for the production of specialized agricultural equipment and special equipment for people with disabilities.
The company also plans to manufacture a professional radio-controlled mower intended for road services, horticultural partnerships and the development of green areas.
The company envisages to launch a service centre for the repair of rehabilitation equipment and attract people with disabilities to the production of special equipment.
Tatarstan President emphasized that this is a socially important project that needs to be developed.
Executive Director of Koluman RUS Company Ali Yalchin informed about the project for the production of tank semi-trailers for storage, transportation and regasification of liquified natural gas (LNG) to facilitate the implementation of gasification programmes for the regions. The project plans to produce cryogenic LNG tanks and stationary, large cryogenic LNG tanks for gas stations and regasification stations.
Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan attaches great importance to the development of the liquefied natural gas market. He emphasized the great potential of the introduced project and instructed to assist in its implementation.
The next project considered during the meeting was the project on construction a plant for the production of plant polymers. Buinsk and Drozhzhanoe regions of the republic are considered as a venue for localization of production facilities. The project plans to establish up to 170 new jobs.
Minnikhanov emphasized that the topic of the production of plant polymers is very pressing today, and bioplastics are called the future of the plastics industry.
The meeting participants discussed the projects proposed for the implementation under the public-private partnership. Director of “Chickens” Correction Centre Rufina Adilzyanova reported on the project for the construction of a rehabilitation centre for children with autism spectrum disorders.
Tatarstan President emphasized that the rehabilitation centre will be in demand in the republic and urged to support the project.
Deputy Director of Glamping Projects Company Alexey Romanov introduced a project for creating a glamping complex at Vysokogorsk region. Glamping is a kind of camping that combines the comfort of a hotel room with the possibility of outdoor recreation. There are over 60 glamping complexes in Russia today.
Minnikhanov approved the project and noted that it will have positive impact on the development of ecotourism in the republic.
At the end of the meeting, the council members considered and approved investment projects applying for a land plot for rent without tendering. These are projects for the development of the Zelenodolsk industrial park, a project for the development of the gas engine fuel market and gas filling infrastructure in the republic and a project for the construction of a sports and recreation complex in Naberezhnye Chelny.
