Briefing dedicated to the safe behavior on water bodies held at Tatarstan Government House
On March 31, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, Chief State Inspector of Small Vessels in Tatarstan Yuri Venediktov asked Tatarstan residents not to go fishing during the self-isolation regime.
He said that employees of State Inspection of Small Vessels in the republic together with the police and Federal National Guard Troops Service will conduct regular raids.
Venediktov also said that last winter five people died in Tatarstan, having fallen through the ice.
The speaker added that 64 people were taken off the torn ice floes by employees of State Inspection and Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Venediktov also informed that because of coronavirus infection, Tatarstan Inspection temporarily stopped reception of citizens of the republic on personal issues.
