12 April 2020, Sunday

On April 12, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated citizens of Tatarstan on the Cosmonautics Day.

“Dear citizens of Tatarstan! On my own behalf and on behalf of Tatarstan Government I congratulate you on the Cosmonautics Day!

Due to the selfless work of scientists, designers and engineers, bravery, courage and heroism of members of the team of cosmonauts, space crews are able to operate in the orbit of the Earth to realize ambitious plans and solve the most important tasks.

It is impossible to imagine the life of mankind without the space technology today. The implementation of the space mission is directly related to all high-tech branches of industry, including communications, transportation, education, science, security, and environment.

For the Republic of Tatarstan, its leading enterprises and universities, the space theme has always been close, and a wide range of competencies in this high-tech sphere has now been accumulated. We take the road to space as a road to the future, as a path to a new technological mode.

The most important task today is to encourage interest of the younger generation in the space. They learn about it at schools and universities, and more recently in quantoriums, where children create something new. The space theme traditionally occupies a serious place in technical creativity. The development of a project in a team of like-minded people is a great chance to start a career in this interesting field. I am sure that there will be many discoveries and a lot of interesting work ahead.

I wish you all good health, happiness, peace and prosperity, new technical achievements and scientific victories for the prosperity of our republic and all Russia.

Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin."
