Meeting of Mufti Ravil Gainutdin and President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov takes place in Moscow

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met with Chairman of the Council of muftis of Russia, mufti sheikh Ravil Gainutdin. The meeting was held in Moscow in residence of the Council of muftis of Russia.
Rustam Minnikhanov saw construction of Moscow Cathedral Mosque and asked about decorative design of the interior. Mufti Ravil Gainutdin told that the interior of Moscow Cathedral Mosque would be designed following traditions of the old building. Patterns of Tatar design are also to be used.
The conversation dedicated to activity of Muslim religious organizations, development of state-confessional relations, on-site support of Tatar Muslim communities was held in a working cabinet later on.
Participants of the meeting arrived at common opinion that education and training of professional staff and a constructive dialogue between authorities and religious organizations were vitally important for harmonious development of the religious sphere.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
