Rustam Minnikhanov participates in Presidium session of the Council for economic modernization and innovative development of Russia

Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev held a Presidium session of the Council for economic modernization and innovative development of Russia under the RF President.
The session was dedicated to innovative development in the sphere of information technologies and telecommunications and was held in the office of Yandex Company.
RF Vice-premiers Vladislav Surkov and Arkady Dvorkovich, Russian Minister of communications Nikolai Nikiforov, Russian Minister of finance Anton Siluanov, representatives of ministries and agencies, chiefs of core companies and higher educational institutions, residents of Skolkovo fund participated in the event. Tatarstan was presented by the President Rustam Minnikhanov and Minister of informatization and communications Roman Shaikhutdinov.
Dmitry Medvedev said that it was important to work out the issue concerning establishment of institutions for protection of intellectual property and principles of work of the new fund.
Improvement of electronic document management in the sphere of medicine was also discussed at the session.
Speaking about higher educational institutions, Head of the RF Government said that those institutions, which could generate a product, must be priority ones.
Dmitry Medvedev informed that the volume of IT market would exceed 700 bln roubles. According to Head of the Russian Government, 21 bln roubles are provided to support new developments this year.

On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
