On May 25, heads of several Russian regions congratulated Tatarstan residents on the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (TASSR).

The historical date of May 27, 1920 marked the beginning of an important stage in the formation of the national statehood of the Tatar people, provided a great potential for successful socio-economic development in the new conditions. For a century, the residents of the republic has established a powerful production, scientific and cultural potential, which has become the foundation of all your achievements and victories,” Governor of the Moscow region Andrey Vorobyev said in his telegram.
He emphasized that Tatarstan is rightfully considered one of the brightest leaders among Russian regions and makes a significant contribution to the development of the country as a whole.
The Governor of Sverdlovsk region Yevgeny Kuyvashev emphasized that cooperation with Tatarstan has always been one of the priorities of the region’s economic, industrial and cultural policy. Strong regional partnerships and friendships have developed between the regions, and trade and economic, scientific, technical, cultural and humanitarian ties are developing successfully. “The basis of our partnership is a cooperation agreement, which has been repeatedly extended and supplemented by new details. And the Permanent Representation of Tatarstan in Yekaterinburg helps us maintain a close dialogue and implement joint projects,” the Governor said.
The Governor of the Kemerovo region Sergey Tsivilev emphasized that the positive creative path of development of the multinational original Tatarstan is built up by the talent and work of many generations of its citizens.
Head of Mordovia Vladimir Volkov appreciated friendly, good-neighbourly relations between the regions.
