Russian Minister of defence Sergei Shoigu visits S.P. Gorbunov KAPO

Russian Minister of defence Sergei Shoigu is on a working trip in Kazan. Upon arrival in the Tatarstan capital Russian Minister of defence accompanied by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and other officials visited the Kazan higher armored command school. Sergei Shoigu inspected barrack rooms, bathrooms, and canteen, where he carefully looked through the menu.
Later on, Russian Minister of defence visited assembly departments of OAO “Kazan aviation production association named after S.P.Gorbunov”. Specialists of S.P. Gorbunov KAPO reported on course of construction of aircrafts of special and strategic aviation. In particular, Sergei Shoigu and Rustam Minnikhanov went aboard the aircraft Tu-214 (developed under the program “Open sky”).
Russian Minister of defence also looked around the exhibition of defence enterpises.
On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
