President of Tatarstan and Russian Deputy Minister of finance discuss prospects of major infrastructure projects in Kazan

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Deputy Minister of finance Andrei Ivanov discussed realisation of projects of Kama industrial cluster, special economic zone “Alabuga”, and IT city “Innopolis”. The meeting was held in IT-park within the framework of a working trip of Andrei Ivanov to Kazan.
Deputy PM - Minister of informatization and communications Roman Shaikhutdinov told about activity of IT-par. Russian Deputy Minister of finance visited data center and business incubator where he got familiar with advanced startup. Rustam Minnikhanov said that Kazan IT-park was occupied for 100 %.
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy PM - Minister of informatization and communications Roman Shaikhutdinov, Minister of economic Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, Aide to the RT President on economic issues Airat Khairullin participated in the meeting on issues of realisation of major infrastructure projects.
Speaking about development of Kama industrial cluster, Andrei Ivanov and Rustam Minnikhanov agreed on necessity of creating high-capacity research centers in such industrial clusters.
Andrei Ivanov promised to consider inclusion of research centers in the list of objects of infrastructure that would be created by the state and business within the framework of industrial clusters development.
Prospects of further development of special economic zone “Alabuga” were also discussed at the meeting.
Moreover, Russian Deputy Minister of finance was told about realisation of the Innopolis project.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
