Head of the Federal road agency Roman Starovoit: Mamadysh motor road shows good example of interaction between federal and local authorities

The reconstructed section of Mamadysh motor road has been officially opened today. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of the Federal road agency Roman Starovoit, Minister of transport and road construction Lenar Safin, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin participated in the event.
To the point, the contractor of works at this section was OAO “Kazdorstroi”. By this road one can drive to federal road M-7 “Volga” and cities of Naberezhnye Chelny and Ufa. The road’s length is 7,1 km, the width – up to 6 lanes. Two underground and overground crossings were built and three traffic lights installed down the road.
Head of the Federal road agency Roman Starovoit said that this motor road showed good example of interaction between federal and local authorities.
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov noted that Mamadysh motor road was most popular since it connected Kazan with Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk and northern part of republic. Rustam Minnikhanov informed that the road had been reconstructed within the framework of preparation for summer Universiade 2013. He thanked everyone who had participated in reconstruction works.
According to the RT President’s Decree, several specialists of OAO “Kazdorstroi” were given titles of honourable builders of the Republic of Tatarstan. Besides, presentation of departmental awards of the Russian Ministry of transport took place within the confines of the event.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
