Rustam Minnikhanov meets with activists of regional Tatar national-cultural autonomy of Krasnoyarsk region

At a meeting with activists of regional Tatar national-cultural autonomy of Krasnoyarsk region “Yar” President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said: “Identity of every nation is the heritage of the whole country.”
The meeting was held in the library of the Siberian federal university. Governor of Krasnoyarsk region Lev Kuznetsov, Head of Krasnoyarsk city Edkham Akbulatov, Chairman of regional Tatar national-cultural autonomy of Krasnoyarsk region Vagiz Faizullin, rector of Siberian federal university Evgeny Vaganov participated in the event.
Speaking to members of the Tatar community, Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan has established friendly relationships with Krasnoyarsk region.
“Today some nationalities are vanishing due to globalization processes. Every year several languages are lost in the world. We don’t want Tatar language and culture to be lost,” President of Tatarstan said.
Rustam Minnikhanov told in details about online learning of the Tatar language (the “Ana tele” program), and the TV channel “TNV-planet”.
These projects are aimed to help Tatars living in other Russian regions or abroad to keep in touch with their historical motherland.
Rustam Minnikhanov believes that it is especially important that regional authorities support the desire of Tatar and other nations to maintain their identity.
President of Tatarstan mentioned that Universiade will also make Tatarstan and Krasnoyarsk region be closer to each other.
Governor of Krasnoyarsk region Lev Kuznetsov said that foundation of warm relationships between two regions was laid by ancestors who once settled in Siberia. He noted that all conditions for preservation of Tatar culture and language had been provided in the region.
Lev Kuznetsov called Universiade the very chain that would unite Tatarstan and Krasnoyarsk region.
In October 2013 the week of Tatar culture will be held in Krasnoyarsk. Vagiz Faizullin asked Rustam Minnikhanov to help with organization of this event.
President of Tatarstan also suggested arranging student exchange between two federal universities – Kazan federal university and Siberian federal university. It was also suggested to open flight connection between Kazan and Krasnoyarsk.
Tatars of Krasnoyarsk region proposed to open trade representation of the Republic of Tatarstan in Krasnoyarsk, since branches of “Ak Bars” Bank, “Tatneft”, “Nizhnekamskshina”, “KAMAZ” companies were successfully working there.
Rustam Minnikhanov presented Letters of gratitude to President of the “Association of timber industrialists of the central district of Krasnoyarsk region” Ildus Garaev, Deputy Director General of OAO “Krasnoyarsknefteprodukt” Gaisa Dautkhanov, and Chairman of regional Tatar national-cultural autonomy of Krasnoyarsk region Vagiz Faizullin.
After the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov participated in X Krasnoyarsk economic forum.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
