Aleksey Pesoshin at the opening of Lyceum Number 187 in Kazan: As many as 8 new schools are opening in the republic this year, and the Sovetsky district is no exception

On September 1, Tatarstan Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated students of the new multidisciplinary Lyceum Number 187 in Kazan on the Day of Knowledge and the new school year.

The Lyceum is located in the Sovetsky district of Kazan and is designed for 1,224 students. There is a separate block for primary school, including 4 game rooms for after-school groups, 2 bedrooms, a speech therapist office in the building. The sports ground consists of vertically separated sports facilities with swimming pools and gyms. The catering unit has a dining room for 456 seats. There is an assembly hall for 562 seats, music, fine arts and drawing rooms, a choreographic and artistic halls. A branch of the Children's Music School Number 21 of the Sovetsky district of Kazan will function at the Lyceum. In addition, an IT training ground is located on the 1st floor of the building, including an engineering and technological, web programming and Internet of Things classrooms, as well as robotics and an engineering classroom for unmanned aerial vehicles.

“I congratulate everyone on the Day of Knowledge and the new school year with great pleasure,” the Prime Minister of Tatarstan said, speaking to the students of the new school.  “Special attention is always paid to the development of education in the republic. As many as 8 new schools are opening in the republic this year alone, and the Sovetsky District is no exception. You get a new modern school, which provides all conditions for formation and development. "

Pesoshin reminded that on September 1, on the Day of Knowledge, more than 56,000 first-graders will go to school in the republic. He wished everyone academic success and good grades.

“Dear teachers, the future of our republic is in your hands,” Pesoshin said, addressing the teachers, and wished them fruitful work.

Head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan also thanked the builders who made every effort and commissioned the new school on time.
