Rustam Minnikhanov meets with Ambassador of Canada to Russia John Sloan

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met with Ambassador of Canada to Russia John Sloan. The meeting took place at Tatarstan Government House with participation of Minister of industry and trade Ravil Zaripov, Aide to Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov.
Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed the guest and thanked for attention paid to Tatarstan. The parties discussed issues of tolerance in modern world, modern tendencies in migration processes.
John Sloan arrived in Kazan to participate in Russian-Canadian research and practice seminar “Tolerance in conditions of global migration processes” (February 25-26, Kazan federal university).
On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
