Rustam Minnikhanov visits scientific departments at Kazan Federal University

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited research and educational centre of the Institute of fundamental medicine and biology at the Kazan Federal University.
Accompanied by rector of the Kazan Federal University Ilshat Gafurov, Minister of education and science Engel Fattakhov, Minister of health care Airat Farrakhov, Rustam Minnikhanov looked over lecture halls and laboratories of the research and educational centre, got familiar with projects of young scientists in the sphere of genetic engineering. President of Tatarstan was told about the laboratory and cooperation with Republican clinical hospital.
Currently the Institute of fundamental medicine and biology is the largest educational and research department of the Kazan Federal University.
Another object visited by Rustam Minnikhanov was the Institute of philology and arts. At the centre of Tatar language and literature President of Tatarstan watched lessons within the framework of online program for learning the Tatar language “Ana tele”.
Later on the same day Rustam Minnikhanov participated in board session of the Kazan Federal University.
Development of medical education at the university, establishment of open biopharmaceutical technopark, and prospects of the university campus were discussed at the session.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Director of the Fund “The Institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Nagumanova informed about preparation to the implementation of the Our Yard programme in the republic.
