Director of Federal Financial Monitoring Service Yury Chikhanchin arrives in Kazan

Director of Federal Financial Monitoring Service Yury Chikhanchin arrived in Kazan with a working visit. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met Yury Chikhanchin at the international airport “Kazan”.
A conversation between Rustam Minnikhanov and Yury Chikhanchin was held at the Tatarstan Government House afterwards.
They discussed measures on counteraction of terrorist financing as one of the main sources of threats to national security.
Later on the same day Director of Federal Financial Monitoring Service Yury Chikhanchin held 9th session of the expert consulting group under National Anti-terrorist Committee for Counteraction of Terrorist Financing with participation of employees of central offices of the Russian Federal Security Service, Russian Ministry of the Interior, Russian General Prosecutor’s Office, and other ministries and agencies within the National Anti-terrorist Committee. The Republic of Tatarstan was presented by Deputy Prime Minister Asgat Safarov.

On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
