Rustam Minnikhanov visits objects of summer Universiade under construction

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited construction site of football stadium “Kazan Arena” for 45 thousand seats in Kazan.
Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov reported on course of construction works, current situation and involved building brigades from municipal regions. About one thousand workers are working at the construction site. Accompanied by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Minister of construction, architecture, housing and communal sector Irek Faizullin Rustam Minnikhanov inspected premises of the stadium.
Rustam Minnikhanov was told about interior engineering, finishing and façade works and site improvement activity.
President of Tatarstan noted big changes that took place at the construction site.
Later on the same day Rustam Minnikhanov visited Aquatics Palace and inspected works underway.
The President also estimated rates of work at the object “International information centre” in Universiade Village. Mayor of Universiade Village Farid Abdulganiev and Director General of ANO “Executive office of XXVII World summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan” Vladimir Leonov reported on current situation.
At the International information centre visited conference hall for delegations, concert hall and lecture halls.
Besides sports venues Rustam Minnikhanov visited construction site of a multi-purpose complex Clover House in the historical part of Kazan city. General contractor of the object is a Czech company PSJ, investor is a holding company “Clover group”, general designer is OOO “AKB BiPlan”.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Director of the Fund “The Institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Nagumanova informed about preparation to the implementation of the Our Yard programme in the republic.
