President of Tatarstan participates in summarizing session of Zainsk region

On March 4 results of 2012 and tasks for 2013 have been discussed at a session of Zainsk municipal region. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov participated in the session.

Region’s head Tatyana Voropaeva made a keynote report. She said that it was a successful year for the region. Total output of produced and shipped goods increased by 25 per cent. GRP accounted for 29 bln rubles. A fourth of volumes growth was provided by small and medium-size enterprises. The share of this sector is steadily growing. The average monthly salary increased and made 19,6 thousand rubles.

According to Tatyana Voropaeva, main task of the industrial sector for 2013 is the increase in production by 7 per cent and salary level.
The amount of work performed by building companies made 3,47 bln rubles. 25 thousand m² of housing have been constructed.

Tatyana Voropaeva emphasized that attraction of investments is one of main conditions for reaching planned rates of economic growth of Zainsk municipal region.

Opening of new enterprise OOO “Zainsk meat processing factory” was an important project implemented in 2012. Another enterprise – OOO “Zainskneftepererabotka” is to be launched this summer.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov noted that interaction with population is well-organised in the region. He also told about results of Tatarstan’s social and economic development in 2012.

Speaking about agriculture, Rustam Minnikhanov focused on opportunities that will appear due to Russia’s joining the WTO. Rustam Minnikhanov believes that environmental friendliness and quality of produce will be a competitive advantage of local agricultural producers. The President mentioned as well that Tatarstan leadership put much emphasis on arranging special places for helping small agricultural organisations to sell their produce.

Rustam Minnikhanov said: “In general, our republic is ranked top among Russian regions by many areas. I hope we will keep up the pace. The role of each territory is important in this work. I would like to thank local authorities and deputies for joint work and I hope the determined tasks will be realised.”
