On October 30, the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Political Repressions is celebrated in Russia.

An address on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Political Repressions in the Russian Federation was made in Tatarstan.

“The totalitarian system, which destroyed millions of smart, talented, extraordinary, proactive, innocent people, could not break their faith in high ideals. The names of more than fifty thousand of our fellow countrymen, victims of the tragic events of the bloody political regime, sound in our hearts with a mournful and noble alarm. Memorials and monuments installed in cities and villages of Tatarstan are a symbol of people's memory and restored justice.

The regional social and humanitarian organization of pensioners and disabled people - victims of political repression of Tatarstan is constantly working to restore and preserve the names of all victims of political repressions, to educate young citizens of Tatarstan on building a human society based on humanistic ideas.

I wish everyone who survived the hardships of unfair accusations, maintaining their dignity and love long life and good health.
