Rustam Minnikhanov: Turkish Republic takes first place by number of enterprises in Tatarstan

At a meeting with delegation of Turkish Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) led by Tuncay Özilhan President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that Turkish Republic takes first place by number of enterprises in Tatarstan.
Welcoming guests, Rustam Minnikhanov continued that such business sessions and forums had become traditional that points to good business contacts and friendly relationships between Russia and Turkey, Turkey and Tatarstan.
Rustam Minnikhanov mentioned that he visited Turkey four times in 2012. Besides, several events with participation of Turkish and Russian businessmen were held in Turkey.
The amount of investments in Tatarstan projects declared by Turkish companies is increasing. Two projects are to be launched in autumn 2013 at Special Economic Zone “Alabuga”. Rustam Minnikhanov also offered Turkish businessmen paying attention to Kama industrial park “Master”, High Technology Park “IT Park” and other innovative platforms.
According to Rustam Minnikhanov, Turkish experience in support and development of small and medium-size enterprises can be useful for Tatarstan.
Tuncay Özilhan said that a lot of Turkish businessmen had invested their funds in Tatarstan economy and entrepreneurs find implementation of projects in Tatarstan attractive. He believes that trade turnover between Turkey and Russia will increase within five years since cooperation between two countries is implemented successfully.
Tuncay Özilhan continued that in order to carry out a mission set by heads of two countries, Vladimir Putin and Tayyip Erdoğan, trade turnover between Turkey and Russia is to be brought to 100 bln dollars per year. We are finding new areas to increase trade turnover, and Tatarstan remains to be an important region for us, he said.
Other members of Turkish Foreign Economic Relations Board addressed Rustam Minnikhanov with welcoming speech. Consul General of Turkish Republic in Kazan Sabri Tunc Angyly, Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tatarstan in Turkish Republic Aidar Gashygullin, Aide to Tatarstan President on international issues and foreign economic activity Radik Gimatdinov participated in the event.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects.
